The Kuna Kavemen will take on the Borah Lions at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Kuna will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each matchup than the last.
For whatever reason, it's the away team that's had the advantage when Kuna and Boise meet (four straight games heading into this one) and that held true again on Tuesday. The Kavemen came out on top against the Brave by a score of 9-5.
Kaleb Olsen looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Tyler Rasmussen was a standout: he scored a run and stole three bases while going 1-for-3. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Zane Hoagland, who scored three runs and stole two bases.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Borah, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Eagle on Tuesday, sneaking past 3-1.
Borah also got a great performance from Jack Meimann as he pitched six innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. Meimann has become a key player for the Lions: the team is 2-1 when he allows at most one earned run, but 5-8 otherwise.
On the hitting side, Borah saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brady Robinson, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3. The Lions are 5-1 when Robinson posts two or more runs, but 2-8 otherwise.
Borah's victory bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Kuna, their win bumped their record up to 9-7.
Borah's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Kuna has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .452. It's a different story for Borah, though, as they've only averaged .350. Will they be able to contain Kuna's hitters?
Kuna couldn't quite get it done against Borah in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 as they fell 9-4. Will the Kavemen have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other baseball content.
