Sherwood Christian Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Georgia's top teams: Westwood, who was ranked 14th at the time (Sherwood Christian Academy was ranked first). The Eagles claimed a resounding 44-12 victory over the Wildcats. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won three in a row.

Qwinton Murray had another great game (as he tends to do), picking up 168 receiving yards and four scores. Sherwood Christian Academy also got a significant boost from Chuck Lagrange, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 89 yards.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Sherwood Christian Academy proved: they limited Westwood to a paltry 2.2 yards per carry. The Eagles didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.4.

Meanwhile, Fullington Academy humbled Grace Christian Academy with a 52-6 victory.

The victory got Fullington Academy back to even at 4-4. As for Sherwood Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.

Everything came up roses for Sherwood Christian Academy against Fullington Academy in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 58-14 victory.
