Football Recap: Center Vikings vs. Trinidad Miners
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Center). They strolled past the Trinidad Miners with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 41-24. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Vikings considering their two-point performance the game before.
Despite the loss, Trinidad saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Isaiah Moreno threw for 168 yards and three touchdowns on only 16 passes, and also rushed for 61 yards.
The win made it two in a row for Center and bumps their season record up to 2-7. As for Trinidad, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.
As of now, neither Center nor Trinidad have any future games scheduled.
