Volleyball Game Preview: Mojave Mustangs vs. Owens Valley Cubs

The Mojave Mustangs are taking a road trip to square off against the Owens Valley Cubs at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Last Wednesday, Mojave came up short against Lone Pine and fell 3-1. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-23, 25-27, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Owens Valley came up short against Immanuel Christian on Monday, falling 3-0.

Owens Valley may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 13 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-13, 25-13.

Owens Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9-1. As for Mojave, their loss dropped their record down to 5-11-1.

Everything went Mojave's way against Owens Valley in their previous matchup two weeks ago, as Mojave made off with a 3-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mustangs since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
