Football Recap: J.P. Stevens Comes Up Short

J.P. Stevens was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 40-6 loss at the hands of the Roselle Rams. If the Hawks were looking for revenge after losing 28-8 to the Rams when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

J.P. Stevens' defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Roselle, the win snapped their losing streak at five games and leaves them with a 2-6 record.

Looking ahead, J.P. Stevens will square off against Manchester Township at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. J.P. Stevens will be up against Manchester Township's rather soft defense (which has allowed 31.44 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Roselle, they will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Roselle Park at 10:00 a.m. on November 27.
