Volleyball Game Preview: Lee Park Prep Knights vs. Providence Classical Paladins

After both having extra time off, the Lee Park Prep Knights and the Providence Classical Paladins will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Lee Park Prep has struggled recently with five defeats in a row, while Providence Classical will arrive with four straight wins.

Last Thursday, Lee Park Prep came up short against Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy and fell 3-1.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-12, 25-27, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Providence Classical got the win against Grace Academy on Tuesday by a conclusive 3-0.

Providence Classical not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Grace Academy between 15 and 18 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-18, 25-15.

Providence Classical now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Lee Park Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 4-14.

Everything went Lee Park Prep's way against Providence Classical in their previous meeting back in August, as Lee Park Prep made off with a 3-0 victory. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Paladins have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
