La Crosse Logan's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Holmen, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Holmen took their victory against La Crosse Logan in their previous matchup back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 9-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
