Football Recap: Hugo Comes Up Short

Hugo's last matchup with Kiefer could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Thursday. The Buffaloes were outmatched by the Trojans and fell 55-20. The Buffaloes were down 53-14 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Although Hugo took the loss, they still got scores from Jamari Scroggins, D'Airreon Jeffries, and Quincy Shelton.

Hugo's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Kiefer, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Hugo is set to square off against their familiar foe Roland at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th. Meanwhile, Kiefer will take on rival Bethel at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
