Volleyball Recap: Kenston Comes Up Short

Kenston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Mentor Cardinals, falling 3-0. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Bombers haven't been shut out since back in March.

Kenston took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-19, 25-20.

Kenston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Mentor, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 10-6 record this season.

Kenston will take on North at 10:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Mentor, they will head out on the road to challenge Mayfield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Cardinals surely won't give up without a fight.
