Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask More). Everything went their way against the Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit Lions on Tuesday as the More Knights made off with a 73-50 victory. Winning may never get old, but the Knights sure are getting used to it with their seventh in a row.

Anthony Selway was his usual excellent self, going 7 for 17 en route to 21 points and three steals. He has been hot, having posted three or more steals the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Timothy Bumb, who went 6 of 7 on his way to 14 points.

More smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 14 offensive rebounds in seven consecutive matches.

When it comes to explaining why Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit lost, don't look at Alberto Mora. Despite the final result, he posted 16 points. That's the most points Mora has posted since back in January of 2024. Fernando Perez was another key player, putting up nine points.

More's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 26.6 points. As for Cristo Rey San Jose Jesuit, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

More will face off against University Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in More's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last six contests.
