Softball Recap: Oak Glen Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Oak Glen can now relate to. They lost 10-4 to the Logan Wildcats on Friday. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Golden Bears, who until this game were averaging 3.38 runs allowed.

Brayley Lash was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Oak Glen's defeat dropped their record down to 21-13. As for Logan, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record this season.

Oak Glen does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Logan, they will challenge Petersburg at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 3, the Vikings 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
