Football Game Preview: Atlanta Rabbits vs. Jefferson Bulldogs

The Atlanta Rabbits will square off against the Jefferson Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Atlanta is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last four games.

Jefferson better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Atlanta's game on Friday is any indication, that's when Atlanta really gets things going. The Rabbits blew past White Oak 39-14. The Rabbits' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Atlanta to victory, but perhaps none more so than Marshawn Woodberry, who rushed for 62 yards and two scores. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Riley, who rushed for 76 yards and one touchdown.

Meanwhile, while it was Jefferson who put the first points on the board on Friday, it was Gladewater who put up more. The Bulldogs were just a hair shy of victory and fell 28-27 to the Bears. The Bulldogs were up 27-11 in the second quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.

Although Jefferson took the loss, they still got scores from Jeramaine Hopkins Jr, Jacoby Morrow, Lemarion Douglas, and Travis Gray Jr.

Atlanta's win bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Jefferson, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.
