Football Recap: Baldwin Piles Up the Points Against Wolfson

Baldwin's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They breezed past the Wolfson Wolfpack to the tune of 41-13. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four contests by 25 points or more this season.

Baldwin got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Nashawn Jacobs out in front who rushed for 69 yards and two touchdowns on only five carries. Stephen Screws was in the mix as well, providing the Indians with two scores.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Baldwin was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 225 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.

Baldwin pushed their record up to 5-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 9.0 points on average over those games. As for Wolfson, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Baldwin will face off against Ribault at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The Indians are facing the Trojans at the right time seeing as the Trojans are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Wolfson, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bolles at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
