Basketball Game Preview: Dickinson Midgets vs. West Fargo Packers

The Dickinson Midgets will face off against the West Fargo Packers on Thursday. Dickinson knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 25 matchups -- so hopefully West Fargo likes a good challenge.

Dickinson is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 73-52 margin over Legacy. The Midgets not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since January 28th.

Meanwhile, West Fargo had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They came within a single point of losing the streak, but they secured a 73-72 W against the Roughriders. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Packers have posted since March 1, 2024.

The win got West Fargo back to even at 12-12. As for Dickinson, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-12 record this season.
