Basketball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Broome

Broome extended their winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Lance Henderson. The Broome Centurions narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Woodruff Wolverines 49-47 thanks in part to Henderson, who posted ten points along with seven rebounds and five assists. He is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

The team also got some help courtesy of Damarius Jeter, who had 11 points. Jeter is also crushing it when it comes to steals: he's grabbed at least two every time he's taken the court this season.

Broome is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-8 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.1 points per game. As for Woodruff, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-5.

Broome will host Union County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Broome has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 3-0 during that stretch of close contests. As for Woodruff, they will head out on the road to face off against Greer Middle College at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Greer Middle College will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something Woodruff surely won't give up without a fight.
