With a playoff win on the line, Mountain Pointe rose to the challenge on Friday. Everything went their way against the Flowing Wells Caballeros as they made off with a 47-26 victory. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Pride considering their three-point performance the contest before.

Mountain Pointe found their leader in sophomore Jamier McKinney, who rushed for 121 yards and three touchdowns on only nine carries. Those 121 rushing yards set a new season-high mark for McKinney.

Mountain Pointe was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 244 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in November of 2024.

As for Flowing Wells, they dropped their record down to 7-4 with the defeat, which was their third straight on the road.
