Soccer Game Preview: Thornapple Kellogg vs. South Christian

The Thornapple Kellogg Trojans are taking a road trip to face off against the South Christian Sailors at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

South Christian will be up against a hot Thornapple Kellogg squad: the team just extended their winning streak to four. Everything went the Trojans' way against Union on Wednesday as they made off with a 6-1 win.

Meanwhile, it was a classic North v. South duel when South Christian faced off against Northview on Wednesday. The Sailors' defense stepped up to hand the Wildcats an 8-0 shutout. Give South Christian's defense some credit: that's the team's fourth straight shutout.

South Christian is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-0-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 41 goals over those seven matches. As for Thornapple Kellogg, their win bumped their record up to 11-2-2.
