Volleyball Recap: Springfield Southeast Takes a Loss

Springfield Southeast lost against Glenwood back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Spartans fell 2-0 to the Titans.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12.

Presly Werts paced Springfield Southeast's offense, picking up five kills. Werts got some help from Parker Maxey and her ten assists.

Springfield Southeast has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season. As for Glenwood, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-3 record this season.

Springfield Southeast has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Riverton on the 3rd. As for Glenwood, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Staunton on the 3rd.
