Eastern Montgomery is a perfect 10-0 against Narrows since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Mustangs will venture away from home to square off against the Green Waves at 5:00 p.m. Eastern Montgomery knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past seven matchups -- so hopefully Narrows likes a good challenge.
On Tuesday, Eastern Montgomery got the win against Parry McCluer by a conclusive 11-1. The Mustangs haven't had any issues with the Fighting Blues recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Eastern Montgomery let Sam Brein and Rena Chandler run wild. Brein went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple, while Chandler went 3-for-4 with two triples, three RBI, and one run. Chandler is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last three games she's played. Madison Hall was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
Eastern Montgomery was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .452. They are a perfect 7-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Narrows lost 23-6 to Parry McCluer on Thursday. The Green Waves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Kaycee Duncan was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base.
Eastern Montgomery pushed their record up to 7-5 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.3 runs over those games. As for Narrows, their loss dropped their record down to 1-8.
Narrows' pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Eastern Montgomery has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.6 hits per game. It's a different story for Narrows, though, as they've been averaging 11.6 hits. Given Eastern Montgomery's sizable advantage in that area, the Green Waves will need to find a way to close that gap.
