The Ferguson Falcons will head out to take on the Goleman Gators at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Ferguson took a seven-run defeat the last time they faced off against Coral Gables, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. Ferguson skirted past Coral Gables 4-2. Surprisingly, this marked the sixth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Alejandro Suarez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned runs on nine hits and racked up eight Ks. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts any time he's pitched this season.
At the plate, Ferguson saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Alejandro Rosales, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Zachary Alfonso also deserves some recognition as he stole his first stolen base of the season.
Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Goleman, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They put the hurt on Westland Hialeah with a sharp 10-0 victory on Thursday. The Gators have beaten the Wildcats the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Wildcats has come to flipping the script.
Adrian Santos looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
On the hitting side, Daikel Nodal was a standout: he scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-1. The team also got some help courtesy of Anthony Martin, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1.
Goleman always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .867. The last time their OBP was this high was since the start of last season.
With the win, Ferguson broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-3-1. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.3 runs over those games. As for Goleman, their record is now 2-4.
Ferguson came up short against Goleman in their previous matchup back in April of 2017, falling 9-4. Can Ferguson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
