Valley Park had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.9 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 16-1 margin over the Windsor Owls. Considering the Hawks have won nine matches by more than nine runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Valley Park pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.0 runs over those games. As for Windsor, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-9 record this season.

Valley Park will venture away from home to square off against Brentwood at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Windsor, they will welcome St. Charles at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
