Basketball Recap: Ridgevue Comes Up Short

Ridgevue suffered their biggest defeat since November 18, 2023 on Saturday. They came up short against the Boise Brave, falling 61-37. While losing is never fun, the Warhawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 44th, while the Brave are ranked fourth).

Despite the loss, Ridgevue still got an impressive performance from McKenna Durrant, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds.

This is the second loss in a row for Ridgevue and nudges their season record down to 9-6. As for Boise, they pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their third straight at home.

Ridgevue will challenge Rocky Mountain at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rocky Mountain will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something Ridgevue surely won't give up without a fight. As for Boise, they will face off against Centennial at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Boise's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matches.
