Soccer Recap: Sequatchie County Comes Up Short

After flying high against Howard Tech on Tuesday, Sequatchie County came back down to earth. The Indians fell just short of the CSTHEA Patriots by a score of 2-1 on Friday. The matchup was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but Sequatchie County couldn't quite close it out.

Their goal came courtesy of Grace Akins, who's now up to seven this season.

Sequatchie County's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for CSTHEA, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Sequatchie County has already played their next match, a 4-2 victory against East Ridge on the 30th. CSTHEA does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
