Baseball Recap: Madison Comes Up Short

Madison extended their losing streak to four on Saturday, dropping them down to 0-4. They came up short against the Westbury Huskies, falling 17-1. On the bright side, the one- run effort marked the Marlins' highest-scoring matchup to date.

As for Westbury, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 8-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average this season.

For Westbury's part, Noah Johnson was a standout: he got on base in all three of his plate appearances with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Makkah Muhammad, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with three stolen bases and three runs.
