Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Whetstone). They blew past the Mifflin Punchers, posting a 60-11 victory. The Braves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 25 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Whetstone to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caniya Woods, who almost dropped a double-double on 21 points and nine rebounds. Woods is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Genevieve Golding was another key player, going 7 of 11 on her way to 15 points and six steals.

Whetstone smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 25 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in seven consecutive games.

Whetstone's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Mifflin, they dropped their record down to 0-9 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Whetstone will challenge Beechcroft at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Whetstone has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. Mifflin has already played their next contest (against Northland), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
