Seymour and Pittsfield are an even 5-5 against one another since October of 2017, but not for long. The Indians will venture away from home to face off against the Saukees at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

On Monday, Seymour came up short against Mendon Unity and fell 2-0. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Meanwhile, Pittsfield came tearing into Monday's contest with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Panthers.

Pittsfield was dominant in they sets they won, taking each by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 23-25, 25-14.

Seymour's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Pittsfield, their win bumped their record up to 11-6.

Seymour couldn't quite get it done against Pittsfield in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 as they fell 2-0. Can the Indians avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
