After losing to Dayton the last time they met, Porter decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Porter Spartans came out on top against the Dayton Broncos by a score of 41-33 on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Spartans.

Porter's victory bumped their record up to 12-17. As for Dayton, their loss dropped their record down to 17-11.
