Lyttie Ward Game Report: vs Stivers School for the Arts

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Monday Lyttie Ward stepped things up a notch to give Belmont the 'W'. Ward produced her best game of the campaign: she got on base in both of her plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs. Those stolen bases marked the first that she has snagged this season.

Coming up, Ward and Belmont will head out to take on Meadowdale at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The last time Ward duked it out with the Lions (two weeks ago), the Bison came out on top by a score of 3-0.
