Volleyball Recap: Ell-Saline Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Ell-Saline can now relate to. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Plainville on Monday. Ell-Saline has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Jocelyn Taylor paced Ell-Saline's offense, picking up four kills. Taylor got some help from Callee Bradley and her four assists. Emily Porter controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Ell-Saline's loss dropped their record down to 15-23. As for Plainville, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-18 record this season.

Ell-Saline does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Plainville, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Varsity Opponent on the 20th.
