Flag Football Recap: Oceanside Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Oceanside can now relate to. They were just a hair shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 20-19 to the Valhalla Norsemen. The Pirates just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Oceanside's defeat dropped their record down to 5-14. As for Valhalla, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-10-1.

Oceanside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Valhalla, they will face off against Olympian at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
