The Patriots never let the Spartans get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. Appleton East have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw West Bend West, too.

Appleton East's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-7-1. As for West Bend West, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5.
