Volleyball Recap: Heidelberg Comes Up Short

Heidelberg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Richton Rebels. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Oilers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Heidelberg's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Richton, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Looking ahead, Heidelberg is taking a road trip to square off against Clarkdale at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Richton, they have already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Wayne County on the 18th.
