Game recap: Chelsea beats Lincoln in back-and-forth affair

After trading leads two times, Chelsea (Mich.) snatched the lead for good when it ran for a touchdown in the third quarter, paving the way for victory over Lincoln (Ypsilanti, Mich.) 41-20.

The score was knotted at 14 heading into the half. The Bulldogs took the lead for good on a rushing touchdown in the third quarter.

Javin Kilgo made a difference for the Railsplitters. The senior quarterback threw one touchdown. His performance brought his touchdown total to one on the year.

Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 20-7 win for Chelsea.



The loss comes after Lincoln defeated Dexter 42-3 last week. With the win CHS extended its winning streak to four games.

Lincoln (4-2) will play a Southeastern - White game against Adrian next week, while Chelsea (4-4) will take on Tecumseh also in a Southeastern - White game.
