Baseball Game Preview: Franklin Panthers vs. Eagle Rock Eagles

For the second straight game, Franklin will face off against Eagle Rock. The Panthers will be playing at home against the Eagles at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.

Franklin is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Eagle Rock with a sharp 13-4 victory on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Panthers needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

The team relied heavily on Jimmy Gonzalez, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with six stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Those six stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Hoechst, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run.

Eagle Rock moved to 6-6 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Franklin, the win got them back to even at 4-4.
