Basketball Recap: Deitrich Williams Key Part of Team Effort in Rams Win

With a playoff win on the line, Greene Central rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They snuck past the Washington Pam Pack with a 64-60 victory. This was a revenge game for the Rams: when they faced off against the Pam Pack on February 4th, they had to take a 67-60 defeat.

Greene Central got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Deitrich Williams out in front who went 5-for-9 to rack up 12 points and three steals. Williams continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Jason Wilson was another key player, going 6-for-8 en route to 12 points and eight boards.

Greene Central smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've posted since back in February of 2024.
