Lowell got a great performance from Caden Witten as he struck out nine batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits. Witten has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than nine strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Blake Sitzer was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double. That's the most hits he has posted over his last ten matches. Mason Brown was another key player, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Lowell's victory bumped their record up to 12-5-1. As for Allendale, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.
