Baseball Recap: Sparks Takes a Loss

Sparks was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 15-0 to the Wooster Colts. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Colts this season, with their most recent defeat being a 8-3 loss on Saturday.

Sparks' defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Wooster, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-8-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sparks will take on Portola at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wooster, they will square off against Hug at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hawks have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.4 runs per game on average), something the Colts will no doubt try to take advantage of.
