Soccer Recap: Ottawa Hills Comes Up Short

Ottawa Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the East Grand Rapids Pioneers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against East Grand Rapids this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 on September 2nd.

Ottawa Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 1-12-1. As for East Grand Rapids, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4-2 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Ottawa Hills will challenge Forest Hills Northern at 6:45 p.m. on Monday. As for East Grand Rapids, they will venture away from home to square off against Forest Hills Eastern at 6:45 p.m. on Monday.
