Volleyball Recap: Floyd Central Finds Playoff Glory Versus New Albany

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Floyd Central walked away with it. Everything went their way against the New Albany Bulldogs on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-1 win back in September.

Ava Casteel was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 15 digs and one assist. That's the most digs she has posted over her last eight matches.

Floyd Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 21 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-6 record this season. As for New Albany, their loss dropped their record down to 21-11.

Floyd Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Providence on the 18th. New Albany does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
