Softball Recap: Shannon Takes a Loss

Shannon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They lost 13-0 to the Tishomingo County Braves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Braves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 28-0 back in March.

Shannon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Tishomingo County, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-5 record this season.

Shannon has already played their next game, an 18-0 loss against Ripley on the 10th. As for Tishomingo County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-3 victory against Itawamba Agricultural on the 10th.
