Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask DeLaSalle). They were the clear victors by an 11-3 margin over the Robbinsdale Cooper Hawks on Friday. The Islanders haven't had any issues with the Hawks recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Charles Gillette looked comfortable as he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, DeLaSalle let Owen Svien and Saul Garr run wild. Svien scored three runs and stole five bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, while Garr got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Garr is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Karu Thompson was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Robbinsdale Cooper, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Looking ahead, DeLaSalle will take on Blake at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Robbinsdale Cooper, they will challenge Kennedy at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
