After having lost a blowout in their  previous game against Nipomo, Cabrillo was happy to have turned things around  on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Santa Maria Saints 55-0. Given the Conquistadores' advantage  in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 393rd, while the Saints are ranked 923rd) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.
Cabrillo's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances.
