Baseball Recap: South Cougars vs. Goddard Lions
South proved they can win big last Monday (they won by 15) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over the Goddard Lions. The Cougars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lions, too.
South's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Breeden, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
