Mt. Carmel had won six straight road games and Sarah Clement did her part to make it seven on Saturday. The Cubs walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Vandebilt Catholic Terriers with plenty of help from Clement, who had 24 assists. She has been hot for a while, having posted 19 or more assists the last ten times she's played.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Mt. Carmel was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-11.

Mt. Carmel's win bumped their record up to 22-2. As for Vandebilt Catholic, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

Mt. Carmel will challenge Fontainebleau at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Vandebilt Catholic, they will be playing at home against Central Lafourche at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
