Baseball Recap: Brazos Comes Up Short

Brazos lost against East Bernard back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Cougars took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Brahmas. The contest marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Brazos saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luke Polasek, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Brazos' loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for East Bernard, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 23-2.

While Brazos had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
