Basketball Recap: Mason Marriott Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Springfield

After losing to Springfield the last time they met, Kit Carson decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Kit Carson Wildcats secured a 51-46 W over the Springfield Longhorns on Thursday.

Kit Carson's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Mason Marriott, who posted 12 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Josiah Irwin was another key player, going 6 of 12 en route to 13 points and six rebounds.

Marriott wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Kit Carson was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
