Softball Recap: Desert Mirage Comes Up Short

Desert Mirage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 8-5 to the Banning Broncos. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Broncos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-6 last Monday.

Desert Mirage's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Banning, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Desert Mirage has already played their next game, a 36-23 defeat against Cathedral City on the 7th. As for Banning, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, an 11-7 victory against Desert Hot Springs on the 7th.
