Baseball Recap: Front Range Christian Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Front Range Christian can now relate to. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 3-2 to the Las Animas Trojans, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Falcons just can't catch a break and have now endured seven losses in a row.

Max Morton was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one double. Another player making a difference was Jake Dreiling, who went 1-for-3 with two runs.

Front Range Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Las Animas, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 17-5.

Front Range Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Las Animas, they have already played their next contest, a 10-0 loss against Highland on the 17th.
