Recap: Trinity Christian Warriors vs. Grafton Bearcats
The Trinity Christian Warriors lost against the Grafton Bearcats back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Trinity Christian received a tough blow as they fell 63-49 to Grafton. Trinity Christian has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
It was another big night for Hadley Horne, who scored 39 points along with nine rebounds and six steals for Grafton. That makes it four consecutive games in which Horne has scored at least 25% of Grafton's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenna Keener, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds.
Trinity Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Grafton, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.
Trinity Christian will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Preston at 12:00 p.m. on January 6, 2024. As for Grafton, they will head out on the road to face off against East Fairmont at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
