It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Berne Union ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They had just enough and edged out the Wellington School Jaguars 4-2. The Rockets haven't had any issues with the Jaguars recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

Berne Union's victory bumped their record up to 8-3. As for Wellington School, they moved to 10-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Coincidentally, Berne Union and Wellington School will both be playing Miller the next time they take the field. The Jaguars will host the Falcons at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Rockets will head out to face them at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
